Silvermoon, Ravencrest (though it's way smaller than Silvermoon) and potentially Argent Dawn if RP interests you. The remaining English realms are either small or Horde-dominated. That doesn't mean you won't have fun. If your main goal is raiding, EU-PVP1 may be your best bet. Whereas the 50/50 split could make a big realm feel like a low pop one. I'm not sure of the status of the big pvp realms but I'm pretty sure the top ones like sargeras, Illidan and tichondrius are all weighted one way or the other as well.(again pvpers can chime in here)Also keep in mind server location your ping will be better on a server located in the east if u live on east coast area 52 and illidan are better east zone areas and tichondrius is west coast server but u can still play on them regardless but will suffer usually 30 higher ping I live in east and play on a west coast server and ping is at 90ms ...Depends on the faction. Population is definitely low, however a single character can learn all professions in the game (blacksmithing, alchemy, skinning, etc.) instead of having a cap. There's usually guilds and communities dedicated to it, and people use addons such as TRP to write profiles and so on to supplement the experience. On EU the only "real" RP server left is Argent Dawn, the rest are either dead or are RP realms only in name. It's majority Alliance but plenty of Horde stuff too.

All but one of the realms is completely P2W, and the PvP is cross-realm so you'll be at a huge disadvantage anyways. Classic WotLK should be out within the next year or so, would be better to wait for that instead.
